Please try to attend so that you may take an active part in your association and community. Even if you plan to attend, it is extremely important that you return the proxy and ballot you received in the mail to insure that we have a quorum (51% of the properties represented in person or by proxy).
IF THERE IS NO QUORUM by 7:15P.M. WE CANNOT CONDUCT THE ANNUAL MEETING!!
Special Note: Mr. J. Thomas Mikell, PC, the attorney who has been our legal counsel during a three-year process of revising the SPPOA Restrictive Covenants will be present briefly during the Annual Meeting. Mr. Mikell is the major source of legal counsel for Beaufort County home owners associations. The SPPOA Board of Directors believes that it will be beneficial for SPPOA members to hear directly from Mr. Mikell regarding: (1) why the SPPOA Covenants need to be revised; (2) where we are in the process; and (3) the direction the process will take as we move toward completion. Mr. Mikell will entertain a few questions that bear directly on the process.
Should you have a question, please contact a member of the Board of Directors:

Janice Powell, Vice President
Alan Daigle, Treasurer
Gary Swank, Secretary
Robert All, Member at Large
